flickr Friday: Camera Cake!
Today's flickr Friday comes from New Inspiration Home Design, an interesting name for a photographer. Other than that, all I can say is - that Nikon D700 is one sweet-looking camera! Have a great weekend everybody.

flickr Friday: Christmas Lights
Tis Friday, and tis time for our weekly flickr photo. Since Christmas is on its way, this week we chose a photo of Christmas lights taken way back in 2005. The photo was taken by Bahman Farzad with a Pentax *istD.

flickr Friday: Twilight Imperium
Today's the day my nerdy friends are coming to town, and we're going to drink beer, play board games and drink beer all weekend. In that spirit, today's flickr Friday shows Twilight Imperium game pieces in action, much as they will be during this weekend's Nerdening. The picture was taken by GameThyme with a Pentax Optio M40.

flickr Friday: Love Snow

At this point I'm still looking forward to the prospect of a big snow year - but just ask me again come January or so. I was looking for an image that represented loving snow, and you can't get too much more literal than the word "love" being snowed on.
This image was taken by Kevin Burkett with a Nikon D90.

flickr Friday: Banksy
I don't know much about street art, but I've been pretty fascinated with Banksy ever since I first heard about Exit Through the Gift Shop. His Simpsons opening was pretty badass too. So when we were on flickr and saw Banksy, Essex Rd, Islington by Sue Powell, I had to post it. This photo was taken with a Panasonic DMC TZ7.

flickr Friday: PUMPKINZ!!1!
We came at you pretty hard with last week's flickr Friday, so I thought I'd slow it down a bit while still acknowledging Halloween. This picture of some well-carved pumpkins was taken by LostMyHeadache with a Nikon D80.

flickr Friday: Toronto Zombie Walk 2008
With Halloween just around the corner, I thought I'd kick off flickr Friday with a bang - not that I don't like Mandarin Ducks. Anyway, this picture of zombie mother and baby is, in the words of a flickr commenter, "disturbingly awesome." I'd have to agree.
This photo is from the flickr set Toronto Zombie Walk 2008 by wvs, and was taken with a Canon EOS.

flickr Friday: Mandarin Duck
What a lovely duck and reflection captured here. It's the mandarin duck, floating around at Richmond Park in London. In Oriental art, these birds are a symbol of conjugal affection and fidelity. Huh. You can see more work from law_keven at Flickr.

flickr Friday: Bee Mine
Okay, Happy Hallmark Holiday everyone! This shot was taken in October in Austin, Texas. Kind of looks like a bleeding heart perennial but it's not the right time of year... any idea what this flower is? You can see more work from jmtimages at Flickr.

flickr Friday: Happy Chinese New Year!
Okay, the actual date of Chinese New Year was January 26 this year. It was the year of the rat and is now the year of the ox. Cheers to that. This shot is taken at celebrations in New York City last year. You can see more work from [ raymond ] at Flickr.

Flickr Friday: Ode to the Groundhog
Don't forget to check for your neighborly groundhog's shadow on Monday. What is a groundhog? It's actually a woodchuck, like this baby one here. Taken with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT
. You can see more work from eva8* at Flickr.

Flickr Friday: Have a Seat
Spooky! This looks like something out of a set on a Tim Burton movie, no? But it's just a frozen bench at Jump Off Rock Trails in the woods of Hendersonville, NC. You can see more work from vgm8383 at Flickr.

flickr Friday: Where Wolf?
This is one of those shots noted for great content. There's really nothing to say, best left open to interpretation. Giddy up! You can see more work from Alaina B at Flickr.
