Smartparts' 32-inch HD Digital Picture Frame: Hold Me
Technically, we saw Smartparts launch this frame in February, but there's much more hubbub about the SP3200WF since it showed up at Photokina 2008. When a digital picture frame gets this big (and expensive) it begs the question if you'd be better off with a flat screen television. But we think this frame could be ideal in corporate and retail applications... and then for the wealthy few that have the wallspace. At any rate, the Smartparts SP3200WF is impressive and sports traditional wooden styling. Equipped with wi-fi, support for Windows Live Photo Gallery, multi-card reader and a screen resolution of 1366x768. This frame can also handle PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, video and RSS feeds.
Contrary to what the press is reporting the frame is on sale at Amazon for $760. If you're set on this you might want to wait a couple weeks to see if they release an updated edition because it seems fishy to have a debut at this point without some changes... we'd expect this to be sorted out in the next few weeks for the holiday season though.
