There’s a few things to look at when distinguishing between digital photo frames:
Screen Size — this can range from 6” to 30” and will be directly related to price
Screen Resolution — if you want crisp-looking images, the higher resolution the better
Aspect Ratio — 4:3 is traditional TV dimension, 16:9 is widescreen dimension
Internal Memory — typically you will need to supplement with a memory card
Memory Card Compatibility — make sure the frame supports your memory card of choice
Remote Control — some have remotes to navigate through slideshows
Wi-Fi Enabled — wirelessly send photos to your frame from email, cell phones and RSS photo feeds
Sound — some have built-in speakers and MP3 capability
Video — some will play various video formats (MPG, etc.)
Batteries — some have battery option for a portable frame
Frame Styling — a matter of décor, styles range from modern metal to traditional wood
Price — ranges from about $50 to $1000
